Honda Jazz Achieves 5 Star NCAP Rating
The Jazz has been rated one of Europe’s safest cars setting the benchmark for the supermini class, according to the new independent crash testing results from Euro NCAP. It has been awarded the maximum 5 Star rating which follows on from the 5 Star results achieved by both the Civic and Accord.
Euro NCAP’s new rating introduced in February 2009, focuses on the vehicles overall safety performance which gives consumers an easy to understand single score. The new system covers adult occupant, child occupant, pedestrian protection and a new area known as safety assist. This new area includes the availability of features such as VSA which is why the entire Jazz range now has VSA as standard with first arrivals of VSA equipped 1.2 models in July 2009.
