Jazz Model Update
Honda are committed to continual product improvement and, in particular areas related to safety. We are pleased to announce that the Jazz 1.2S and 1.2SE 09 Model Year will be available to order with VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) from the 1st May 2009.
This now means the entire Honda line up is available with VSA, a system which helps stop the vehicle from skidding by reducing engine power or applying braking to an individual wheel to regain control when slip is detected.
This product improvement will be recognised by EURO NCAP who from now on will publish a new overall rating for every vehicle that will cover Adult occupant protection, Child occupant protection, Pedestrian protection and a new area of assessment – Safety Assist which includes the availability of features such as VSA also known as ESP.
An announcement from EURO NCAP on the rating awarded to the new jazz is expected at the end of May 2009.
