Honda (UK) has become the official car partner for The Tour of Britain, the professional cycle race which attracts over a million spectators each year.
We will provide over 40 support cars to race organisers, to deliver the largest free-to-attend national cycle stage race in Britain.
Backing The Tour is a great way to demonstrate that we are driving success for Britain: by building Civic and CR-V (and shortly Jazz) in Swindon - both Civic and CR-Vs will feature heavily in the support cars line-up and by sponsoring 2008 Olympic British Cycling Champion Ed Clancy, who we will be backing to win the tour which in its history has never had a British winner.
How to get involved?
For the first time ever you, your staff, existing and prospect customers could cycle the same course as the professionals in London on Saturday 19 September.
You are guaranteed to have a great day out while helping fight prostate cancer, a disease which kills one man every hour in the UK. Simply let us know that you would like to sign up as a ‘Team Honda’ participant with Norton Way/Chiswick Honda and you get an instant 50% discount on the entry fee and a ‘Limited-edition Team Honda T-shirt’. For keen fundraisers who secure a minimum £250 sponsorship, the entry fee will be waived. There will also be a nationwide prize for the top fundraiser. So what are you waiting for?
