The Government/Mazda scrappage payment applies to cars or LCVs not exceeding 3.5 tonnes, first registered on or before 31 August 1999 only when traded in against new cars or LCVs. The new vehicle must be ordered between 1 January 2010 and 28 February 2010, and registered within 4 months of the order date. Scrapped vehicles must have been registered to the purchaser for at least 12 months preceding the purchase of the vehicle, be taxed and insured and come with a valid MOT certificate. The registered keeper must have a UK address and the trade-in vehicle must be clear of finance. *Scrappage Customer sales only. Subject to availability at participating dealers only on vehicles registered between 1 January 2010 and 28 February 2010. *6.9% finance available on all new Mazda models. At the end of the Personal Contract Purchase there are 3 options: (i) Pay the GFV to own the vehicle, (ii) Part exchange the vehicle, where equity is available, or (iii) Return the vehicle.
