The study focused on the 15 most populated cities in the UK and evaluated how many of these cities were within a drivable range of 251 miles (WLTP) using the new PEUGEOT E-2008. The researchers also considered the number and speed of public charging points within a five-mile radius of each market, as well as the availability of accommodation options with EV charging facilities.

Based on the research, the following Christmas markets emerged as the top choices for EV drivers:

1. Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market: Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market took the top spot as the most accessible market for EV drivers. It offers a balanced mix of charging options, making it an ideal destination for festive shopping.
2. Edinburgh's Christmas Market: Edinburgh's Christmas Market claimed the second position in the rankings. With 104 charging stations, including 31 DC rapid chargers, it provides ample charging opportunities for EV drivers.
3. York's Christmas Market: York's Christmas Market secured the third spot, offering a charming setting for visitors. It also boasts 45 charging stations, making it convenient for EV drivers to power up their vehicles.
4. Winter Wonderland Nottingham: Nottingham's Winter Wonderland grabbed the fourth position in the rankings. With 32 charging stations, including 25 rapid chargers, EV drivers can easily recharge their vehicles while enjoying the festive atmosphere.
