Enhanced 2024MY Enyaq: Faster Charging, More Equipment, and Longer Range​

​The 2024 model year Enyaq introduces significant engineering, design, and specification enhancements. These updates aim to provide customers with a better driving experience and improved value for money. With faster charging, increased power outputs, and longer driving ranges, the Enyaq continues to raise the bar for electric SUVs.​

Longer Driving Range

Thanks to refinements in the Enyaq's battery and energy management software, all models in the 2024MY line-up offer improved driving ranges. The entry-level Enyaq 60, equipped with a 58 kWh battery, now has a WLTP combined range figure of 249 miles, an increase of three miles. The 85, 85x, and vRS models, which retain the 77 kWh battery, also offer increased ranges. The Enyaq Coupé vRS, in particular, receives a significant 16-mile range boost, with a new WLTP range figure of up to 340 miles.

Increased Power Outputs

Most models in the updated Enyaq line-up also benefit from increased power outputs. The Enyaq 60 retains the same 179 PS motor, while the 85 and 85x models now generate 286 PS as standard, representing an 82 PS increase over the previous 80 model. The Enyaq 85 accelerates from 0-62 mph in 6.7 seconds, while the 85x performs the same test in 6.6 seconds. The sporting flagship vRS model receives a significant power boost of 41 PS, resulting in a total output of 340 PS and a 0-62 mph time of just 5.5 seconds. 

Faster Charging Speed In addition to improved driving ranges and power outputs, the 2024MY Enyaq also offers faster charging capabilities. The new Enyaq 85x and vRS models feature an increased DC rapid charging speed of 175 kW when connected to a suitable rapid DC charge point. This improvement allows both models to charge from 10-80% in approximately 29 minutes, a seven-minute improvement compared to the previous models.

Enhanced Infotainment System

The updated Enyaq comes with an improved infotainment system, featuring revised graphics and improved usability. The new icons and redesigned screens offer a smoother navigation experience, making it easier for drivers to access and control various features. The charging and climate displays have also been reworked to provide clearer and simpler operation on the move. The navigation and assistance graphics have been redesigned to deliver clearer and easier-to-follow mapping and directions.

New Value-Packed Edition Models

To enhance the Enyaq's value for money proposition, Škoda has introduced two new models to the range: the Enyaq 60 Edition and the Enyaq 85 Edition. These models offer exceptional value with an enhanced specification for a small premium over the previous models. Key features of the Edition models include keyless entry and start/stop, Adaptive Cruise Control, Full LED matrix headlights, Tri-zone climate control, and an Electric boot with Virtual pedal. The Edition models also come with heated front seats, a heated multi-function steering wheel with regen paddles, and an electric driver's seat with memory function.
