Following the SUV ENYAQ iV, SKODA now offers another electric car based on the all-electric MEB platform. The new ENYAQ COUPÉ iV is a sleeker and more dynamic alternative to the original version, and it will be manufactured alongside it on the Mladá Boleslav factory's production line. In this regard, both versions of the ENYAQ SUV are unique, as they are currently the only models produced outside of Germany based on the MEB platform.

"Following the success of the ENYAQ iV, the new ENYAQ COUPÉ iV adds emotion, sportiness, and elegance to the SKODA iV family." SKODA designers and engineers have succeeded in combining high functionality with emotive looks with this version," says Thomas Schäfer, CEO of SKODA, when announcing the new model.

The new SUV coupé also continues SKODA's habit of introducing new technologies to its electric car lineup. One of these is the RS model. "The new top-of-the-line model is also SKODA's first entirely electric RS car." "With its highly attractive body, the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV is a great combination of emotive appearance and high performance, while still maintaining the spaciousness that SKODA vehicles are known for," explains Schäfer.

Bodyshape

The key innovation of the SKODA ENYAQ COUPÉ iV is its body shape, as the technology and core design language are based on the ENYAQ iV. The coupé-style roofline sliding down from the B-pillar adds to the new car's emotional appearance. This look is enhanced by the aggressive front bumper and the new design of the side sills, which are painted in the same colour as the body, emphasising the car's length.

Of course, the car's rear, with its sharply articulated edge and SKODA branding beneath it on the boot lid, is altogether new. The panoramic glass roof, which reaches all the way from the windscreen to the rear window and has a strong black tint, is a unique feature of all ENYAQ COUPÉ iV models. The dynamic design and emotive aesthetics are accentuated by alloys with 19 to 21-inch rims and the standard Full LED headlights at the front and rear.

"The new ENYAQ COUPÉ iV is the outcome of turning the VISION iV research, which garnered a lot of attention two years ago, into a mass-produced car." The beautiful design, which incorporates sculptural shapes and crystalline accents, creates a dynamic appearance. The SKODA ENYAQ COUPÉ iV, with its athletic lines, elicits even more emotion than the ENYAQ iV, which has made a significant commercial impact. "The ENYAQ COUPÉ iV also delivers all of the well-known strengths of SKODA automobiles, such as wide room and great functionality," explains SKODA Chief Designer Oliver Stefani

Interior design that makes you happy

Full LED Matrix headlights are also standard on the sportier models. For example, three-zone air conditioning is standard in the RS variant (two-zone is standard in the rest), and the car has progressive steering. In the RS variant, customers can pick between two interior designs.

Carbon décor on the dashboard and door panel trim, aluminium pedal covers, and sports seats with integrated head rests and the RS emblem are standard in both cases. The seats are upholstered in Suedia with lime green contrast stitching and piping in the RS Lounge Design Selection trim. The same colour accent can be found on the steering wheel, floor mats, and dashboard, all of which are upholstered in Suedia. Customers can choose the RS Suite Design Selection, which includes upholstery in perforated black leather with grey contrast stitching, with same colour scheme repeating on other aspects in the interior. The interior of the SPORTLINE model is likewise unusual, with black Suedia material dominating.

Customers can select interior design lines recognisable from the ENYAQ iV in the other models. The Loft Design Selection is typical here, with a balanced blend of black and grey. The optional Lodge line includes sustainable materials such as seat covers made of 40% natural wool and 60% recycled polyester that bear the Woolmark Company seal. The Lounge Design Selection is made up of a mix of leather and Suedia material. The Suite version features gorgeous cognac leather, whereas the ecoSuite model provides a sumptuous feel while also being environmentally friendly: its seats are upholstered in leather tanned using chemical-free olive tree extracts.

All versions of the SKODA ENYAQ COUPÉ iV provide a variety of Simply Clever features as well as plenty of space for all passengers and their belongings. In basic design, the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV has a cargo capacity of 570 litres. The cutting-edge support and safety systems, features, and other conveniences are similar to those found in the ENYAQ iV SUV, which is already on the market. Customers can thus enjoy innovative features such as augmented reality head-up display, up to nine airbags, connection services with planned enhancements via software updates, and top-of-the-line parking assist.

The world's first all-electric RS

The ENYAQ COUPÉ iV will also be the first all-electric SKODA coupé with a sporty RS trim level. The ENYAQ COUPÉ RS iV represents the peak of SKODA's lineup. The RS has a system output of 220 kW and 460 Nm of torque, as well as the performance to match: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.5 seconds, and top speed is 180 km/h, which is 20 km/h faster than the other model variations. Both the RS and SPORTLINE chassis are 15 millimetres lower in the front and 10 millimetres lower in the back.

The ENYAQ COUPÉ RS iV comes standard with the 131 LED-illuminated Crystal Face radiator grille, whereas the other models have it as an option. Furthermore, the RS model includes black contrasting parts such as the window trimmings and rear diffuser, while the SPORTLINE model has a radiator grille in "piano finish." The bezels on the standard models are finished in chrome. The ENYAQ COUPÉ RS iV, like all other SKODA RS models, has a red reflective strip across the entire width of the rear bumper. In addition, the rear bumper on the RS version has been given a sportier appearance on the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV.

The ENYAQ COUPÉ RS iV comes standard with black 20-inch Taurus wheels, with anthracite 21-inch Vision wheels available as an option. These wheels have an aerodynamic coating. The SPORTLINE model is available with either anthracite 20-inch Vega alloys or optional black Betria 21-inch wheels. Customers will also be able to purchase the ENYAQ COUPÉ RS iV in the unique Mamba green colour, while SKODA is also introducing additional colours to the normal version's catalogue, such as the Graphite grey metallic, which replaces Quartz.

Quick and easy charging

Customers can select from two battery sizes and four power levels when purchasing the SKODA ENYAQ COUPÉ iV. The ENYAQ COUPÉ iV 80x is also available with this battery and all-wheel drive configuration, in addition to the aforementioned RS variant with its 82 kWh battery (77 kWh usable capacity, all-wheel drive as standard, and 220 kW of power). This model has a power output of 195 kW and a torque output of 425 Nm. Furthermore, the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV 80 is available with rear-wheel drive and a 150 kW power output. Because of its combination of a more economical single-axle drive and a huge battery, this model has a maximum range of up to 545 kilometres (WLTP).The ENYAQ COUPÉ iV 60 is the basic variation in most markets, with a 62 kWh battery (58 kWh useable), 132 kW electric motor, and rear-wheel drive.

The SKODA ENYAQ COUPÉ iV has a maximum charging performance of 135 kW. As a result, during rapid charging, the 82 kWh battery can be charged from 10% to 80% capacity in just 29 minutes. The SKODA iV Charger wallbox, which can offer up to 11 kW of AC power, can charge the automobile at home in six to eight hours, depending on the size of the battery. Using traditional public chargers, similar times might be expected. The ENYAQ COUPÉ iV comes standard with a Mennekes charging cable, and a charger compatible with all common charging outlets is available for charging from a 230 V household socket with a power output of 2.3 kW on request. In addition, SKODA provides a universal iV charger with interchangeable connectors. This, in conjunction with the CEE adaptor, allows charging on higher powerful sockets of up to 11 kW.

Owners of the new car can also have one of three SKODA wallboxes installed at home, or utilise the Powerpass service for convenient charging at over 260,000 places across Europe, including Ionity fast chargers. Customers can effortlessly pay for the electricity they use with Powerpass in monthly bills at a discounted rate.
