As pre-orders open today, 14th May 2024, businesses across the country are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to experience the Interstar's cutting-edge technology and versatility firsthand.

Interstar's Trim Levels and Key Features

The all-new Nissan Interstar diesel van will be available in two distinct trim levels - Acenta and Tekna. The Acenta model is designed to cater to the everyday needs of customers, featuring manual air-conditioning as standard. For those seeking a more premium experience, the Tekna trim offers a range of valuable upgrades, including automatic air conditioning, a heated windscreen, a rear-view camera, front parking sensors, and flank protection.

The Tekna trim also boasts a host of other convenience-enhancing features, such as 270-degree opening rear doors, a 12V plug in the loading area, additional anchorage fixing rings on the C and D pillars, full wheel covers, and lumbar adjustment on the driver's seat. Regardless of the chosen trim, every Nissan Interstar comes backed by an industry-leading five-year or 100,000-mile warranty, showcasing the brand's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Powertrain and Performance

Powering the all-new Interstar is a 2.0-litre single variable turbo diesel engine, available in a range of output options. Customers can choose from power outputs ranging from 105PS to 170PS and torque outputs from 330Nm to 380Nm. This diverse powertrain lineup ensures that the Interstar can cater to a wide variety of business needs, whether it's for everyday deliveries or heavy-duty hauling.

Impressively, the Interstar diesel variant can achieve a WLTP fuel consumption figure of up to 37.8mpg, with the N2 versions reaching an even more impressive 41.5mpg. In terms of payload capacity, the Interstar boasts a class-leading capability of almost two tonnes, making it an ideal choice for businesses that require exceptional load-carrying capabilities. Additionally, the Interstar can tow up to 2,500kg, further expanding its versatility and suitability for a wide range of commercial applications.

Revamped Interior Design

Nissan has paid meticulous attention to the Interstar's interior, crafting a cabin that offers car-like comfort and convenience. The steering wheel has been made more vertical than its predecessor, and the sculpted dashboard features a 10.1-inch touchscreen display angled towards the driver for enhanced visibility and usability.

The Interstar's interior also boasts an abundance of storage solutions, including two large cup holders, large overhead shelves, and 10 open storage areas, complemented by three closed storage compartments that collectively offer nearly 80 litres of stowage space. A multipurpose central seat-back workspace unit and a large under-seat storage box further enhance the van's practicality and versatility.

Improved Manoeuvrability and Safety Features

Addressing the needs of businesses operating in urban environments, the all-new Interstar boasts enhanced manoeuvrability, with a turning circle that is 1.5 metres smaller compared to previous generations. This improvement ensures that navigating narrow streets and tight spaces is now a seamless experience, without compromising the van's impressive load-carrying capabilities.

Safety is a top priority for Nissan, and the Interstar is equipped with a comprehensive suite of standard safety features. These include Forward Emergency Braking, Drowsiness Warning, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. Nissan's innovative one-box braking system also ensures that braking power is always optimised, regardless of the vehicle's load. Moreover, the Interstar's emergency braking reaction time has been halved compared to previous models, providing drivers with greater peace of mind.

Versatile Conversion Options

The all-new Nissan Interstar enters the market with a wide range of factory-built conversion options, catering to the diverse needs of businesses. Customers can choose from tipper, drop-side, and box van configurations, as well as multiple panel van variants. Whether the requirement is for maximum cargo volume, long-distance driving capability, extra passenger room, or heavy-duty hauling, the Interstar has a solution to meet the unique needs of every business.
