The 2021 Automotive Management (AM) Awards took place on Wednesday 8th September at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham. The AM Awards represent the pinnacle of automotive retailing achievement.
Norton Way Nissan of Letchworth, Hertfordshire were the worthy winners of the Award for Best Electric Vehicle Dealership and in the words of the Judging panel this category was ”A closely contested category, but this winner earned the trophy with its expertise, engagement, sales volume and its vision of electric vehicles’ integration into society.”
Norton Way Nissan's engagement and pro-active approach to "all things EV" are truly ground-breaking. Not only do these take into account staff engagement, customer education and qualification, plus post-purchase contact and support, but they set new industry and UK standards in terms of commitment to the Proof of Concept (PoC) project which explores service offerings that leverage Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and Vehicle-to-Building (V2B) technology. This is a major commitment to supporting the UK’s efforts to increase EV adoption and assist Corporates in considering how best to electrify their fleet to achieve net-zero carbon targets, optimise EV batteries and maximise returns on investment.
