British-built, smarter than ever, and designed for the future – the all-new Nissan LEAF is here.
Built right here in the UK at Nissan’s world-class Sunderland Plant, the next-generation LEAF takes to the road with a sleek new look, remarkable efficiency, and an impressive driving range of up to 386 miles (WLTP).
Unveiled for the first time in Copenhagen, the all-new LEAF redefines what drivers can expect from an electric vehicle, combining advanced technology, connected driving, and everyday practicality – all wrapped in a stunning aerodynamic design.
Since its debut in 2011, the Nissan LEAF has led the way in making electric driving accessible to everyone. Now, the third-generation LEAF signals Nissan’s continued leadership in EV innovation.
Clíodhna Lyons, Region Vice President, Product and Services Planning, Nissan AMIEO, said:
“The all-new LEAF is the embodiment of our DNA here at Nissan: smart, sleek, stylish, and ready for the next generation of EV drivers. With a top range of 386 miles and connected technologies, it delivers the convenience and excitement our customers demand.”
Crafted at Nissan’s Global Design Studio in Atsugi, Japan, and proudly built in Sunderland, the new LEAF boasts a dynamic crossover silhouette that’s both elegant and efficient.
With a drag coefficient of just 0.25, this design isn’t just about looks – it enhances real-world range, especially at motorway speeds, where drivers can enjoy up to 269 miles on a single charge.
Key exterior highlights include:
Inside, space and practicality take centre stage. With up to 437 litres of boot space (VDA), a power liftgate, roof rail options, and seven expressive colour choices (including the signature Luminous Teal), the LEAF is ready for families, commuters, and adventurers alike.
Drivers can choose between 52kWh and 75kWh battery options, offering up to 271 miles and 386 miles (WLTP) respectively.
At motorway speeds (70mph), the larger battery still delivers up to 269 miles, making long-distance journeys easy and stress-free.
Charging is quick and convenient:
Built on Nissan’s advanced CMF-EV platform (shared with the Nissan Ariya), the all-new LEAF delivers smooth handling and refinement thanks to its MacPherson front and multi-link rear suspension.
Performance highlights include:
Driver-focused technologies include:
Inside, the LEAF features dual 14.3” digital displays and NissanConnect with Google built-in, offering seamless integration with your digital life:
With the NissanConnect Services app, you can remotely check battery status, pre-condition the cabin, or plan your next journey — ensuring the LEAF stays connected inside and out.
The all-new Nissan LEAF is manufactured in Sunderland, UK, using 20% renewable energy – part of Nissan’s ongoing commitment to a cleaner, electrified future.
