New 408 Plug-In Hybrid

A new fastback model that’s designed to combine the best bits of a saloon, hatchback and SUV.

It’s based on the existing 308, and retains a five-door configuration, but is both longer and taller. The powertrain line-up includes two plug-in hybrids and a petrol engine. There will also be a fully electric 408 that follows.

NEW PEUGEOT 408: UNEXPECTED FROM EVERY ANGLE

The 408 is here, positioned between the 308 and 3008. It offers more practicality than a regular hatchback, with a large 536-litre boot, but also improved driveability and efficiency when compared to a conventional crossover.
