ALL-NEW PARTNER NAMED VAN OF THE YEAR IN NEW CVT AWARDS

The all-new PEUGEOT Partner goes to the top of the class in the Company Van Today awards, staged for the first time. All-new Partner took the top trophy when the judges named the new van its first ever ‘Van of the Year’. To further add to the accolades, all-new Partner also wins ‘Light Van of the Year'.

The all-new PEUGEOT Partner’s innovative driver assistance systems also caught the judges’ eyes. The Partner’s Overload Indicator warns drivers if the van has been overloaded, helping them to avoid associated dangers as well as potential prosecution. Overloading a van can cause excess wear to braking, suspension and transmission components and increase fuel consumption.

“The all-new PEUGEOT Partner has proven itself to be a capable, innovative and efficient vehicle, all of which are qualities appreciated by the business community,” said Company Van Today Editor, Tom Webster. “Couple that with new levels of driver appeal and technology and it’s easy to see why the all-new PEUGEOT Partner is a clear choice as our CVT Van of the Year.”

The Company Van Today Awards reward the best vehicles in the industry, those light commercial vans that offer fleets a combination of great running costs, high quality, efficiency and clever features that help businesses do their jobs.

Carefully selected by the Company Van Today editorial team with decades of combined experience in the sector, the winners are those that can best serve a business audience.

“We’d like to say a big thank you to the Company Van Today team for recognising the all-new Partner van’s many strengths and presenting us with these awards, which join the growing list the Partner has already received including International Van of the Year 2019”, says David Peel, Managing Director of PEUGEOT UK. “The all-new PEUGEOT Partner offers Fleet operators a low total cost of ownership, highly efficient petrol and diesel engines and innovative driver assistance systems, including Overload Indicator, Surround Rear Vision and Trailer Stability Control.”

Other awards the all-new PEUGEOT Partner has won include the 2019 Light Commercial Vehicle of the Year and Light Van of the Year in the 2019 What Van? Awards, Small Van of the Year from Company Car and Van magazine, Van of the Year and Small Van of the Year in the Van Fleet World Great British Fleet Awards and Van of the Year and Best Small Van in the 2019 Trade Van Driver Awards
