Peugeot's Electric Future

PEUGEOT AIMS TO BE ELECTRIC BY 2023

This April, Peugeot gave visitors of the Milan Design Week a glimpse into the brand’s electric future with features including a spectacular light display, a pride of Peugeot lion ambassador and a selection of innovative new models that are have commenced Peugeot’s electric transition.

The announcement of the all-new PEUGEOT 208, e-208 and PEUGEOT e-LEGEND Concept car lines up with the ambition to provide an electrified version of its entire range by 2023, falling in line with the brand’s new #UnBoringTheFuture goal, and recently introduced signature marking PEUGEOT’s intentions to focus on EV: ‘MOTION & e-MOTION’.

PEUGEOT e-LEGEND CONCEPT

This exciting concept car was one of the EVs on display in Milan. Unveiled at the 2018 Paris Motor Show the PEUGEOT e-LEGEND Concept was the first look at PEUGEOT’s ambitions for an electric future. With a design inspired by the retro PEUGEOT 504 coupé, the PEUGEOT e-LEGEND taps into the brand’s sporting heritage while presenting a sleek and stylish vision of the future of electric vehicles.

Peugeot e-208

The all-new PEUGEOT e-208 was alongside the e-LEGEND Concept as the first model from Peugeot’s new generation of full electric vehicles. It comes with a 100kW electric motor and 50kWh battery, producing a range of up to 211 miles according to WLTP procedures.

Peugeot Hybrid Range

The new Peugeot hybrid technology will complement the existing engines for the Peugeot 3008 SUV and the all-new Peugeot 508 and 508 SW. The HYBRID and HYBRID4 (4-wheel drive) engines will be available for the all-new Peugeot 508 and Peugeot 3008 SUV, respectively, late 2019.

A futuristic throwback, revolutionary hatchback and two new hybrid engines are concrete proof of Peugeot’s vision of unrestrained, exciting and ever more efficient mobility. #UnboringTheFuture.
