In terms of electrification, Peugeot is leading the Stellantis charge, with ambitious plans to offer an electric version of everything in its lineup by 2023. We'll have to wait and see if it succeeds, but expect a slew of pure-electric models to hit the market soon.
Available now: Peugeot e-2008
Rather than producing Electric-specific models, Peugeot is one of the brands aiming to offer an electric "variant" of existing models in its lineup. The e-2008 is a great example of how this can work. It looks exactly like its combustion-powered siblings, but beneath the hood is a 50kWh battery capable of up to 206 miles between charges; that's significantly more than a Mini Electric, but not quite as good as a car like the Volkswagen ID.3.
Available now: Peugeot e-208
The Peugeot e-208, which has a 136hp electric motor, has been praised as a fun-to-drive electric supermini. Inside, you'll find the usual array of screens and "i-cockpit" controls found in any Peugeot, but underneath is the same electric motor and platform found in the Corsa-e. It's yet another example of the Stellantis group's success with platform sharing.
Coming soon: Peugeot e-308
The Peugeot e-308 is the company's next all-electric vehicle, which is set to go on sale in the coming months. It will use the same electric motors and drivetrain as the e-2008. When it arrives, it'll be competing against cars like the Volkswagen ID.3, and thanks to its stunning styling, it might just be able to entice a few customers.
Available now: Peugeot e-Rifter
Peugeot's new all-electric e-Rifter is as easy to drive in town as it is on the highway. It moves freely into restricted traffic areas in the city. The Peugeot e-range rifter's and battery charge allow you to travel up to 172 miles (WLTP). The WLTP protocol provides users with a more precise and realistic view of range values based on actual vehicle use.
Available now: Peugeot e-Traveller
With the PEUGEOT Traveller MPV, you'll enjoy a new perspective on travel and plenty of open space. The range and battery charge of the PEUGEOT e-Traveller lets you travel up to 148 miles according to the WLTP (Worldwide harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedures) certification protocol.
