PEUGEOT WELCOMES EXTENSION OF PLUG-IN VAN GRANT UNTIL 2027

PEUGEOT welcomes confirmation that the Plug-in Van Grant (PiVG) will continue until at least 2027. The brand currently offers the widest electric vehicle line-up of any mainstream European brand, including an all-electric variant across its entire light commercial vehicle (LCV) range.

Nicola Dobson, PEUGEOT UK Managing Director, said: “The Plug-in Van Grant is essential to help more businesses make the switch to electric, so we’re pleased that the government has confirmed it will continue until at least 2027. PEUGEOT is at the forefront of the electric van market with three fully electric models, part of the widest electric vehicle line-up of any mainstream European brand, and is committed to supporting businesses in the electric transition.”

PEUGEOT’s electric van line-up consists of the E-PARTNER, E-EXPERT and E-BOXER, all of which were updated in 2024 with revised styling, more efficient powertrains and an improved technology offering. The entire range is currently available with 0% APR on Conditional Sale*, helping businesses to spread the cost of going electric with no interest to pay.

Sole trader and SME customers can also take advantage of a free home EV charger and standard residential installation worth up to £1,050 (inc. VAT) through Free2move Charge, provided by Octopus Energy.**

PEUGEOT’s all-electric van line-up combines efficiency, practicality and performance, with models to suit every business need. The E-PARTNER – the UK’s best-selling compact electric van in 2024 – is manufactured at Ellesmere Port and offers a range of up to 213 miles. The mid-sized E-EXPERT delivers up to 219 miles of range, with up to 6.6m³ of load space and a 1,220kg payload, while the largest model, the E-BOXER, provides up to 263 miles of range and rapid charging capability from 0–80% in just 55 minutes. With Plug-in Van Grants of up to £5,000, PEUGEOT’s electric van range is available from £27,295 OTR (excl. VAT).

The extension of the Plug-in Van Grant follows confirmation that a number of PEUGEOT electric car models are eligible for the new Electric Car Grant, with the E-208, E-2008 and E-RIFTER all benefitting from a £1,500 saving on their on-the-road price. Ahead of official government confirmation, PEUGEOT UK is also underwriting the Electric Car Grant on the new E-408, E-308, E-308 SW, and E-TRAVELLER***, meaning retail customers can enjoy a £1,500 saving on these models too.
