Six popular LCV conversions now available to order from Norton Way Peugeot

Peugeot has now launched the Built for Business programme which provides a range of popular conversions that carry a warranty that matches the base vehicle. The range includes:

• Tipper
• Downside
• Lution
• Low-Floor Luton
• Box Body
• Curtainside

All conversions are based on the Peugeot Boxer 335 chassis, powered by the 2.0 BlueHDi 160 S&S engine with six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes air conditioning, uprated battery and revised dual-leaf rear suspension with anti-roll bar.

Variants

Tipper

• Available in two variants – L2 Single Cab and L3 Crew Cab
• Bodywork features include bolted construction for ease of maintenance, and steel & aluminium parts to provide robust construction and optimum payload.
• Multiple load securing points in the front bulkhead
• Body side board and integrated lever lock assemblies have been test to burst loads of 1.7 tonnes
• Payloads up to 1,222kg

Dropside

• Available in three variants - L2 Single Cab, L3 Single Cab and L3 Crew Cab
• Payloads up to 1,441kg
• 400mm deep side and tailboards made from double-skinned aluminium,
• 800kg capacity retractable load securing rings fitted to perimeter frame
• Additional options include tool trunk, folding footsteps, grab handles or a tail-lift

Luton

• Available in two variants – L3 Single Cab and L4 Single Cab
• Aerodynamically designed pod above the Boxer cab, reducing air drag and providing extra storage space
• Internal kicks strips located on front bulkhead and side panels to protect against damage
• Load locking and tie-rail tracks
• Alternative lightweight aluminium frames available
• Additional interior rows and layouts are available
• 500kg column tail lift

Curtainside

• Available in two variants – L3 Single Cab and L4 Single Cab
• Aerodynamic pod above the cab
• Maximum payload of up to 967kgs, equal to six Euro-pallets
• Alternative lightweight aluminium frames available
• Side apertures open up to 2,080mm, to ease loading access

Box Body

• Available in two variants – L3 Single Cab and L4 Single Cab
• Shares construction features with Luton and Curtainside with the same aluminium lightweight option
• Load volume of up to 20m­­³ and payloads up to 1,051kgs.
• Load locking, tie rail strips and optional additional rows
• Rear closure is a lightweight roller shutter door with locking handle
• 500kg capacity column tail light

Low-Floor Luton

• Ideal to ease loading access and increase body volume.
• High-volume 22m³ body, the largest in the Built for Business range.
• Payload of up to 1,050kgs
• Load lock strips for the body’s sides
• Standard rear closure is a pair of flush-fitting barn doors, with a lightweight roller shutter available as an option.
