From 1st September 2025, all new Mazda vehicles registered in the UK will benefit from an extended six-year manufacturer warranty with a mileage limit raised to 100,000 miles—up from the current 60,000 miles. This new warranty applies across the entire Mazda range, underscoring the brand’s confidence in the quality, reliability, and engineering of its vehicles.
Jeremy Thomson, Managing Director of Mazda UK, said:
"Offering a six-year warranty is a significant milestone for Mazda UK. Considering that only 21% of cars registered in the UK currently come with warranties longer than three years, this demonstrates our commitment to delivering exceptional value and peace of mind to our customers. It also supports our dealer network in offering one of the most competitive warranties in the industry."
The warranty requires customers to maintain their vehicles according to Mazda’s prescribed service schedule, typically every 12,500 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. This extension is particularly beneficial for fleet operators and high-mileage users, providing longer-term reassurance.
David Wilson-Green, Customer Service Director, added:
"This extended warranty differentiates Mazda in a competitive marketplace, reinforcing our dedication to customer service across retail, fleet, and used car sectors. For dealers, it offers a great opportunity to build lasting relationships with customers through sales and service for years to come."
Following its global debut earlier this year at the Brussels Motor Show, the Mazda6e is set to impress UK audiences with its sophisticated design, advanced technology, and dynamic performance. The all-electric vehicle represents a fresh take on the popular Mazda6, delivering Mazda’s signature driver engagement in a sleek, modern package.
Key specifications available in Europe include two battery options: 68.8 kWh and 80 kWh. The smaller battery offers up to 300 miles of range and rapid DC charging from 10% to 80% in 22 minutes, while the larger battery extends range up to 345 miles, charging to 80% in 45 minutes. Both versions deliver around 320 Nm of torque, rear-wheel drive layout, and acceleration from 0-62 mph in under 8 seconds.
Mazda’s ‘Kodo Soul of Motion’ design philosophy continues with the Mazda6e, featuring flowing lines, frameless doors, integrated door handles, and a distinctive lighting signature that includes dynamic wing lights that indicate charging status. The car’s aerodynamic 19-inch wheels further enhance efficiency and style.
Inside, the cabin embraces the Japanese concept of ‘Ma’—the beauty of space—with a panoramic roof flooding the interior with natural light. Premium materials, including artificial and Nappa leather, elevate comfort in available trim levels Takumi and Takumi Plus. The driver-centric cockpit boasts a 14.6-inch touchscreen, 10.2-inch instrument cluster, and an augmented reality head-up display.
