CX-5 Specification and Provisional Prices Announced for 2018 model

​Mazda CX-5 was subject to dramatic exterior and interior changes when the current model was launched June 2017, therefore the visual changes are subtle;

Exterior Changes: 

  • New 19” Metallic alloys will replace 19” Gun metal alloys on Sport Nav+ derivatives
  • New Colours and Interior Trims

Powertrain changes include:

  • The introduction of 2.0 165ps 2WD petrol automatic derivatives
  • The 2.2 175ps AWD diesel powertrain will be upgraded to 2.2 184ps AWD diesel

Safety features to be added (as standard across the range):

  • Mazda Radar Cruise Control (stop and go function only on automatic models)
  • Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring with rear cross traffic alert
  • Smart Brake Support with forward obstruction warning
  • High Beam Control
  • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning System

The safety pack will now contain the following:

  • Adaptive LED Headlamps
  • Driver Attention Alert
  • Rear Smart City Brake Support
  • 360° View Monitor

Other specification upgrades include;

  • Auto door locking will be included as standard
  • The introduction of sunroof as standard on 165ps Sport Nav+ derivatives
