TECHNOLOGY
The driver-centric cabin
within All-New Mazda3 situates every element within your reach so
you can stay focused on the road ahead. An intuitive instrument panel displays
important information within your line of sight to minimise distraction. The 8.8 inch
centre display and Commander are positioned for optimal comfort of the wrist
and forearm. Synchronising your mobile phone or your favorite music via Android
AutoTM or Apple CarPlayTM is now easier than ever through the MZD-Connect
infotainment system. Communication between you and your vehicle becomes
second nature—by design.
SAFETY
Avoiding an accident in the first place is always the safest route. The available suite of
sophisticated safety innovations alert you to hazards to help you avoid collisions—or
lessen their impact. Features such as the available 360˚ View Monitor and Blind Spot
Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert help improve your visibility and awareness of
the road. When needed, front and rear Smart City Brake Support will even perform
automatic braking. Standard across the range is the windscreen projected colour Active
Driving Display (head-up display) which allows you to keep your eyes on the road
while the LED headlights illuminate your path. More confident driving, so you can feel
focused and engaged with every drive you take.
PERFORMANCE
Available as both a five-door hatchback and four-door saloon and with the choice of two Skyactiv-G petrols — a 1.5-litre and 2.0 — plus a 1.8-litre diesel. A six-speed manual or automatic gearbox is also be available. But it’s not just the cutting edge, super-sleek looks which are new. The Mazda3 will also see the introduction of a revolutionary new petrol engine called Skyactiv-X SPCCI (Spark Plug Controlled Compression Ignition).The range adopts Mazda’s new Skyactiv vehicle architecture and its powertrain will comprise the latest Skyactiv-X, Skyactiv-G and Skyactiv-D engines. We brought together experts to enhance the feeling that the all-new Mazda3 feels like an extension of your body, using human-centric engineering and Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture to make tires, seats and chassis work in complete harmony with you. Now featuring Cylinder Deactivation and for the first time Mazda has introduced an intelligent Mild Hybrid system called M Hybrid which uses kinetic energy from regenerative braking to help support the engine and power electronics.
