MG ZS Hybrid+ named Best Small Fleet SUV at Great British Fleet Awards 2026

The MG ZS Hybrid+ has been recognised as Best Small Fleet SUV at the 2026 Great British Fleet Awards, with judges praising its strong balance of efficiency, refinement, and value.

The award, presented as part of the Fleet World Manufacturer Awards, highlights vehicles that deliver outstanding performance, practicality, and cost-effectiveness for fleet operators and high-mileage business users.

Further strengthening MG’s presence in the fleet sector, the MG HS and MGS6 EV were also shortlisted as finalists in the Best Medium Fleet SUV and Best EV Medium SUV categories respectively.

Efficiency and refinement recognised

The judging panel highlighted the MG ZS Hybrid+ for combining affordability with an advanced hybrid powertrain that delivers both strong performance and everyday usability.

Simon Harris, Editor of Fleet World and chair of the judging panel, noted that the model “perfectly balances affordability with a high-voltage punch,” adding that its refinement and efficiency demonstrate how budget-friendly SUVs no longer require compromises in driving quality.

Hybrid performance with real-world appeal

At the heart of the MG ZS Hybrid+ is a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 196PS. This setup enables brisk performance, with 0–62mph achieved in 8.7 seconds, while maintaining strong efficiency of up to 55.4mpg (WLTP combined) and CO₂ emissions of 115g/km.

The compact battery supports improved fuel economy and smooth hybrid operation, making the ZS Hybrid+ particularly well suited to urban and mixed-use driving typical of fleet applications.

Strong specification and value

Available in SE and Trophy trims, the MG ZS Hybrid+ offers a high level of standard equipment, including a large infotainment display with smartphone connectivity, navigation, digital driver display, and keyless entry.

Higher-spec models add features such as heated seats and steering wheel, a 360-degree camera, upgraded interior finishes, and larger alloy wheels—enhancing both comfort and driver appeal.

Fleet-focused safety and usability

The model is also equipped with MG Pilot, a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems designed to support safety and reduce driver fatigue. Features include adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, emergency braking, and blind spot monitoring.
