Since its founding as just one location in 1989, Norton Way Group has expanded to include six locations in Hertfordshire and four in West London, home to the following brands; Honda, Nissan, Kia, Peugeot, Mazda, MG, Skoda, and Citroen. Norton Way Group was formed in 1989 by a management buyout of the dual-brand site, Norton Way Honda and Vauxhall.
Norton Way Group began as this single site in 1989 and has since grown to encompass 6 sites in Hertfordshire and 4 in West London. The Group’s continued success is attributed to our teams and their commitment and dedication to providing customer excellence and ensuring satisfaction. As a business, we are continually evolving to reflect the changing landscape and identifying areas in which to grow and improve.
Norton Way Mazda was opened next to the already existing Norton Way Honda site on Norton Way North. Norton Way Peugeot was acquired at a new site to Norton Way Group which was located on Green Lane.
We opened the innovative Chiswick Honda Brand Centre in Chiswick. This is the site of the previous Honda UK headquarters.
We relocated our successful corporate operations to a purpose-built facility in Arlesey.
Our shareholders reached an agreement to transfer control of Norton Way Group Limited to Marubeni Corporation’s subsidiary Marubeni Auto Investments (UK) Limited. This subsidiary consists of 50 companies/dealers and turns over more than £420m. Norton Way Group is their third biggest acquisition.
The Marubeni family started a business founded in 1858 in Western Japan, by a merchant who began trading textiles. Marubeni expanded to other commodities and overseas, and was formally incorporated in 1949.
In 2012 we opened a brand new Nissan dealership that specialises in cars, 4x4s, Light Commerical Vehicles, and Electric Vehicles. We offer a number of services including Sales, Aftersales, and Parts. The site is based next to Norton Way Honda on Norton Way North in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire.
The next extension to Norton Way Group came in the form of Wimbledon Park Honda and Norton Way Skoda.
Our Corporate won 'Fleet Dealer of the Year 2014' for the first time. This great achievement was the first of many for our Corporate department based at their purpose-built site in Arlesey.
Our Norton Way Mazda sales team won 'Sales Team of the Year' Award at MOTORTRADER INDUSTRY AWARDS. We are very proud to have won such an award and strive to win more.
Europe's Flagship Kia dealership opened in Brentford. Our Kia dealership is the biggest in Europe and covers a massive 41,00sqft of space across four floors. The top floor is occupied by a massive 17 x 4 metre LED display screen which is visible from one of the busiest commuter roads in the UK, the M4. The ground floor has over 750m² of space and hosts the entire Kia product range, for customers to view and test drive. Our café is also located on the ground floor, with seating for over 40 people, and is a great space for local businesses to drop by when considering a new fleet deal. The café is also open to the public. Used cars are housed on our 450m² first-floor showroom, customers are able to view the full range of stock both inside and out.
The lower ground floor of GWR Kia, boasts seven service and two MOT bays, with space to expand to 15 bays, making GWR Kia a one-stop shop for all things Kia.
We take pride in our level of sustainability at the site, with our energy strategy including low and zero carbon technologies, comprising air source heat pumps, roof-mounted solar PVs, water harvesting and LED lights.
Our corporate department won the AM Awards 'Best Fleet Operation'. This was an outstanding achievement for our hard-working corporate team.
2018 saw our Corporate department win multiple awards including the prestigious AM Awards 'Best Fleet Operation'. This was their second triumph as they maintained this title from 2017. Later in 2018 our Corporate team also won the Fleet News Awards 'Fleet Dealer of the Year'.
We welcomed Norton Way Citroen Aftersales to our group which is based at our established Norton Way Peugeot dealership (Green Lane, Letchworth Garden City, Herts). Peugeot and Citroen both belong to the successful Stellantis group after taking ownership from the previous PSA Groupe.
Norton Way Nissan won the AM 'Best EV Dealership' of the year 2021. Norton Way Nissan's engagement and pro-active approach to "all things EV" are truly ground-breaking. Not only do these take into account staff engagement, customer education and qualification, plus post-purchase contact and support, but they set new industry and UK standards in terms of commitment to the Proof of Concept (PoC) project which explores service offerings that leverage Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and Vehicle-to-Building (V2B) technology. This is a major commitment to supporting the UK’s efforts to increase EV adoption and assist Corporates in considering how best to electrify their fleet to achieve net-zero carbon targets, optimise EV batteries and maximise returns on investment.

We opened Carverse in April 2022, a brand new Used Car Supermarket, including a large vehicle forecourt with a display for over 250 used vehicles, a showroom, valet centre, state-of-the-art turntable, preparation centre, and bodywork/smart repair workshop. Carverse offers an omnichannel approach, offering customers the opportunity to purchase a car entirely online, but also via showroom appointments.
Our new Chiswick MG dealership opened in May 2022, based alongside our established Chiswick Honda dealership.
In July 2022 our Norton Way Nissan dealership was presented with the Nissan Dealership Ambassadors of the Year 2022 award. We are honoured to have won this prestigious award and would like to thank our team for continuously showing their dedication to providing our customers with the high level of customer service we strive for at Norton Way Group.
