
OMODA&JAECOO UK has continued its impressive growth trajectory in 2026, recording a combined 7,152 vehicle registrations in April, according to the latest figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
The results underline the rapid rise of both brands in the UK market less than two years after their launches.
OMODA, which entered the UK market in August 2024, registered 3,275 vehicles during April, securing a 2.19% market share. JAECOO, launched in the UK in January 2025, achieved 3,877 registrations and captured a 2.60% share of the market.
Two Models Secure Top 10 Positions
The latest SMMT data also confirmed that OMODA&JAECOO placed two models among the UK’s top 10 best-selling vehicles for April 2026.
The OMODA 5 ranked as the sixth best-selling model of the month with 2,308 units registered, while the JAECOO 7 secured tenth position with 2,099 registrations.
The JAECOO 7 has also emerged as one of the UK’s standout success stories this year, becoming the country’s third best-selling new car of 2026 so far, with 17,668 registrations recorded since January.
Growing Demand Across Retail and Fleet Markets
The latest figures highlight growing consumer demand across both brands, with nearly 40% of sales attributed to private buyers. Fleet and mobility channels continue to provide additional scale and stability to overall market performance.
Year-to-date registrations for 2026 now stand at 12,324 for OMODA and 22,789 for JAECOO, bringing the combined total to 35,113 vehicles.
The continued momentum reflects the brands’ expanding presence in the UK automotive market, supported by distinctive styling, advanced technology and strong value positioning.
Expanding Dealer Network and Product Range
OMODA&JAECOO’s UK retail network now comprises 126 dealerships across Great Britain, providing nationwide coverage for customers. The company says further expansion of both its dealership footprint and vehicle line-ups is planned throughout 2026.
