Peugeot has announced a new five-seat Crew Van version of its popular Partner commercial vehicle, giving customers the option of a five-seat vehicle that still offers load-carrying capacity.
The new model is based on the ‘Long Professional’ version, offering additional practicality over the regular van by adding a second row of three seats. The seats are cleverly integrated into the bulkhead which can be slid forward and/or folded to offer flexible space.
With the second row of seats in use, the Partner Crew van offers 1.8m3 of load space, which increases to 3.5m3 once they have been folded away. The maxium load length is 1.45m with a maximum gross payload of 850kg available. The Partner also features a folding front passenger seat, and by opening the metal bulkhead, it allows longer objects to fit in the van – long planks of wood, for example.
Based on the regular Partner, the Partner Crew Van comes with essential equipment as standard. This includes cruise control, rear parking sensors and a large touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto available.
The Partner Crew will be available with three turbocharged engine options available. The first is a 108bhp 1.2-litre petrol, as well as the popular 1.5-litre diesel unit, which can be had with either 99bhp or 128bhp.
Available to order now in time for January delivery, the newcomer will start at £21,140 +VAT for the basic PureTech 110 petrol-powered model.
