PEUGEOT UK has announced revised pricing across its passenger car line-up, introducing lower entry prices for key models including the 208, 2008, 3008 and 5008. The move follows the recent repositioning of the New 308 and New 408 and is designed to make the brand more accessible to both retail and fleet customers.
The updated pricing structure applies across all powertrains — including petrol, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric models — as well as all trim levels.
Revised UK Pricing
The new starting prices are as follows:
Nicola Dobson, Managing Director of PEUGEOT UK, said the revised pricing strengthens the brand’s competitiveness across both private and business markets.
“These changes strengthen PEUGEOT’s position in the mainstream market by making our range more accessible than ever to both retail and fleet customers,” she said.
“We’re broadening our appeal while continuing to offer the sophisticated design, high-quality interiors, engaging driving experience and innovative technology for which we are known. The revised pricing supports our retail growth and enhances our competitiveness for company car drivers and fleet operators alike.”
Expanded Appeal for Electric Vehicles
PEUGEOT currently offers one of the broadest EV line-ups among mainstream European manufacturers, with nine electric passenger vehicles available in the UK.
Seven of those models qualify for the UK government’s £1,500 Electric Car Grant (ECG), further improving affordability for customers considering the switch to electric mobility.
The revised pricing for the E-3008 means the 73kWh 210hp version now qualifies for the grant across all trim levels, including Allure, Allure Premium and GT specifications.
Lower Tax Costs for Customers
The pricing adjustments also reduce exposure to the UK’s Expensive Car Supplement thresholds, helping customers lower long-term ownership costs.
Under current taxation rules, ICE vehicles priced above £40,000 and electric vehicles above £50,000 attract an additional £440 annual Vehicle Excise Duty charge from years two to six of ownership.
As a result of the revised pricing:
PEUGEOT estimates customers could save up to £2,200 in road tax over six years on qualifying models.
Improved Fleet and Company Car Value
The new pricing strategy is also expected to strengthen PEUGEOT’s appeal within the fleet and business sector.
Lower list prices reduce Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) taxation by lowering P11D values, helping company car drivers reduce monthly tax liabilities while improving whole-life costs for businesses operating electrified fleets.
PEUGEOT says the revised structure creates a stronger value proposition for fleets transitioning toward lower-emission vehicles without compromising practicality or equipment levels.
PEUGEOT Electric Promise
PEUGEOT’s electric passenger car range continues to benefit from the brand’s “PEUGEOT ELECTRIC PROMISE,” which includes:
The revised pricing is effective immediately across the PEUGEOT UK passenger car range.
