The Skoda Kodiaq has claimed the highest honour at the Honest John Awards 2018, claiming the ‘Car of the Year’ title.
Unlike any other awards, the Honest John award is chosen by the websites 2.3 million annual visitors, rather than a panel of journalists and experts. The winner is decided by the reviews that generate the most interest, judged by number of page visits. This provides an indication of cars that generate the most interest and excitement from real buyers and enthusiasts.
The Skoda Kodiaq has been a real hit amongst the public and motoring press since its release last March. The vehicle generated more page hits and visits than any other car during the judging period, leading to the title of ‘Car of the Year’.

The Kodiaq wasn’t the only winner for Skoda, the Superb claimed best family car, which is a remarkable achievement for a car that made its debut in the UK in 2015.
The Honest John Award is the latest in a long line of accolades for the Kodiaq, since its launch last March it has claimed numerous awards including TopGear Magazine Family SUV of the Year, Auto Express Best Large SUV and What Car? Best Large SUV.
