Honda’s distinctive Neo Sports Café CB125R gains four fresh colours for 26YM, reinforcing its premium appeal in the 125cc class. Compact, stylish and packed with high-spec components, the CB125R remains one of the most desirable starter bikes on the market.
Originally
launched in 2017 as the smallest member of Honda’s Neo Sports Café family, the
CB125R offered new riders a blend of accessible performance, top-tier equipment
and bold styling. Major upgrades followed in 21YM with a new DOHC 4-valve
engine and Showa SFF-BP forks, and again in 24YM with EURO5+ emissions
compliance, a full-colour TFT display and updated switchgear. For 26YM, Honda
adds four new colourways to keep the bike looking sharp and contemporary.
Performance & Engine
The CB125R features a EURO5+-compliant 125cc DOHC 4-valve single-cylinder engine delivering 11kW at 10,000rpm and 11.6Nm at 8,000rpm. Lively and efficient, it offers a top speed of 105km/h and covers 0–200m in 11.3 seconds. A six-speed gearbox provides smooth shifts, while PGM-FI fuel injection ensures crisp throttle response. An underslung exhaust with dual-chamber muffler keeps weight centralised.
Chassis & Handling
A lightweight inner-pivot diamond frame and steel swingarm give the CB125R its trademark agility. With a 130kg wet weight, 1345mm wheelbase and 51.5/48.5% weight distribution, the bike offers sharp steering and excellent stability.
The premium chassis specification includes:
A 2.3m turning circle and 816mm seat height make it effortless in city riding.
Styling, Tech & Equipment
True to the Neo Sports Café philosophy, the CB125R combines minimalist retro styling with modern aggression. The 5-inch full-colour TFT display, inspired by the CB1000R, features multiple speed/rev layouts, a gear indicator, fuel consumption data and a configurable shift light. New switchgear improves usability.
Full LED lighting enhances both aesthetics and visibility. The cutaway tail unit, aluminium footpeg hangers and sculpted fuel-tank covers add to the bike’s premium feel. The 10.1L tank allows for a range of over 460km thanks to frugal 45.5km/l WMTC fuel efficiency.
26YM Colours
Four bold new paint options refresh the line-up:
Each comes with contrasting “big logo” graphics and Honda Wing emblems.
