A new era begins for the ground-breaking MG4 EV with the UK debut of the all-new MG4 EV Urban, alongside the return of the original, award-winning MG4 EV, now upgraded with enhanced technology, improved interior quality, increased driving engagement and a stronger focus on electric range.

With a broader choice than ever, the MG4 EV family now caters for a wide range of drivers — from the efficient, spacious and competitively priced MG4 EV Urban Comfort, through to the thrilling performance of the dual-motor MG4 EV XPOWER.

Since launching in 2022, the MG4 EV has become one of the UK’s most popular electric cars, with nearly 50,000 sales and more than 50 major awards and recommendations. Its success has been driven by a distinctive design, enjoyable driving experience and a commitment to making electric mobility accessible to more drivers.

The MG4 EV Urban delivers truly affordable electric motoring without compromise. Prices start from £23,495 for the Comfort Standard Range, rising to £25,495 for the Comfort Long Range, with the generously equipped Premium Long Range available from £27,995.

Meanwhile, the 2026 MG4 EV builds on the strengths UK customers already admire, with MG continuing to prioritise value for money and driving quality. The range opens with the Premium Long Range from £29,995 — a £2,750 reduction versus the outgoing model — while the Premium Extended Range, priced from £32,995, offers up to 338 miles of WLTP combined range, placing it among the best-value long-range EVs on sale in the UK today.

At the top of the line-up, the MG4 EV XPOWER remains a standout, offering electrifying performance at £33,995 and retaining its position as the fastest-accelerating car available in the UK on a pound-for-pound basis.

Alongside its expanded electric line-up, MG Motor UK is also strengthening customer support through enhancements to MG Assistance, ensuring peace of mind throughout ownership.

Customers with an MG Assistance breakdown policy will now automatically receive a like-for-like MG courtesy vehicle if their car is recovered to an MG dealership. This support extends beyond roadside assistance, with more than 180 MG dealerships and authorised repairers across the UK able to provide courtesy vehicles in cases where repairs are complex or parts are temporarily unavailable. Importantly, this support is uncapped, with loan vehicles renewed until customers are reunited with their own car.

MG Assistance is available throughout the warranty period. After the initial year of cover provided with every new MG, customers benefit from a complimentary 12-month renewal of AA roadside assistance each time their vehicle is serviced at an MG dealership. All MG models are backed by MG’s 7-year or 80,000-mile manufacturer warranty.

The 15,000 m² facility, operated with XPO Logistics, provides increased capacity to support future demand for parts and servicing.
