Controllability The CBR600RR's Throttle By Wire (TBW) was developed from the RC213V-S and is based on the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade. The integrated Acceleration Position Sensor (APS) in the switchgear communicates with the throttle grip and ECU, which then sends the information to the TBW motor that controls the butterfly. This system ensures a natural throttle feel and control at all power levels.
Engine The engine delivers a powerful 63Nm torque with a broad distribution for smooth driving on hard corner departure, along with a direct shot of 14,250 rpm exhilaration and scorching top-end speed. At its peak, the engine produces 89kW (119hp).
3-Levels Power (P) is divided into five levels, with level 1 being the most total power. Wheelie (W) controls performance through levels 1-3 (plus off), with 1 providing the least amount of intervention. Engine Brake (EB) controls performance through levels 1-3 on a closed throttle.

      Performance

Rider Technology Carving curves is about building speed. This is what the electronic package on the CBR600RR accomplishes. The 6-axis IMU and MotoGP-specified throttle-by-wire technology offer three different engine brake and five different power settings. The nine-level Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) regulates rear wheel traction while providing organic feedback. The Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD), a slipper clutch, and cornering ABS provide drivers the confidence to accelerate aggressively into and out of corners.
Rider Modes Make the most of any journey. The new Honda CBR600RR features 5 pre-sets or fully custom with Power and Engine Brake Modes, and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) all for you too choose from.
