Honda Motor Europe announced the fourth edition of its remarkable Honda Adventure Roads experience, returning to Africa in 2024 for the first of three annual events across three continents. Shifting from the landscapes of Iceland in 2022, Morocco is set to be the destination of the 2024 Honda Adventure Roads.
Thirty intrepid riders will tackle over 2,800km of Morocco's shifting sand dunes and formidable mountain passes aboard Honda's acclaimed CRF1100L Africa Twin adventure motorcycle, with guidance from Honda’s HRC Dakar Rally riders. Honda has crafted a route to test the skills of even the most seasoned off-road riders, promising an unparalleled adventure across the country's awe-inspiring landscapes.
Since its inception in 2017, Honda Adventure Roads has provided a select group of riders with a truly unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience unlike any other. From the 3,500km journey from Oslo to Nordkapp, to the 12 day trip across South Africa, Honda Adventure Roads participants have traversed some of the planet’s toughest routes. Last year, riders were faced with challenging weather conditions in Iceland, covering mountains and cold river crossings. Now, the journey continues into the depths of the Moroccan desert.
Next year, thirty fortunate riders will embark on an extraordinary journey across Morocco with the Honda Africa Twin, courtesy of Honda Motor Europe. Setting off from the coastal city of Agadir, participants will steer their Africa Twin motorcycles east through the shifting sands of Erg Chebbi and past the formidable Atlas Mountains. They will brave the cliffside roads of Dades Canyon before winding north to the final destination of Nador.
