Kia dominates Fleet World awards with five major wins, including Fleet Manufacturer of the Year

Kia UK has reinforced its growing influence in the fleet sector after securing five major titles at the Fleet World Great British Fleet Awards 2026, including the headline accolade of Fleet Manufacturer of the Year.

The brand’s success spans both passenger and commercial vehicles, underlining the breadth of its electrified line-up. Key wins included EV Van of the Year and Compact High Cube Van of the Year for the PV5 Cargo, alongside Best EV Small SUV for the EV3 and Best EV Medium Car for the EV4.

Kia’s overall victory reflects the strength of its end-to-end fleet proposition. Fleet World judges highlighted the brand’s diverse powertrain offering, strong residual values, and consistent fleet support as key differentiators.

Editor Simon Harris noted that Kia delivers “a solution for every driver,” pointing to models such as the Sportage PHEV, EV6, and EV9, alongside its industry-leading seven-year warranty and reliable vehicle supply—factors that continue to resonate strongly with fleet operators.

Kia’s latest electric models also received individual recognition across multiple segments:

EV3 – Best EV Small SUV: Praised for setting new benchmarks in comfort, value, performance, and range, with no clear rival in its class.
EV4 – Best EV Medium Car: Recognised for its strong range capabilities, high specification, and overall value, positioning it at the top of its segment.

Kia’s entry into the light commercial vehicle sector has made an immediate impact, with the PV5 Cargo securing two major awards.

Judges praised its design, driving dynamics, load capacity, and range, highlighting its suitability for urban and short-range operations—where electric vans can deliver significant running cost savings. Its practical dimensions, including compatibility with standard charging bays, further enhance its usability for operators.

With additional variants set to follow, including larger body styles and chassis cab options, the PV5 signals Kia’s long-term commitment to the electric van market.
