The CB125F has been refined from the wheels up, with updates to the front and rear cowl as well as new LED headlights all-round, giving it a more modern aesthetic. It also features a new 4.2-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth® connectivity for Honda RoadSync.

The single-cylinder, air-cooled, 2-valve eSP engine of the CB125F offers an impressive fuel efficiency of 67km/l (1.4l / 100km), giving it a potential range of up to 800km between fill-ups. The Auto Idle Stop function also helps to maximise efficiency by automatically shutting off the engine at traffic lights or during short stops.​

Honda RoadSync is an app that allows CB125F riders to access essential features on the move. This includes navigation for turn-by-turn guidance, making and receiving calls, sending and receiving texts, listening to music, and getting real-time weather updates. All functionality can be operated via the switchgear on the left handlebar.​

The Auto Idle Stop function on the CB125F automatically shuts off the engine at traffic lights or during short stops to cut emissions and avoid unnecessary fuel use. It works in any gear and can be deactivated using the button on the left-hand switchgear.​
