Front Forks The NPX front fork uses a pressurised damping system to minimise cavitation, resulting in more stable control and improved bump absorption at high speeds.
Honda Electronic Steering Damper Minimises sudden steering changes at high speeds for chasis stability, enhanced riding ease and comfort.
Radial Mount Caliper Offers better alignment to the disc and rigidity. Radial-mount calipers are secured and supported at both ends providing less caliper flex and better braking performance.

Riding the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade offers a thrilling and immersive experience for riders. The bike's aerodynamic design and superior grip give you confidence and control on every ride.

RC213V-S-inspired swing arm design The aluminium swingarm – based on the designed used by the RC213V-S – is 30.5mm longer at 622.7mm, but weighs exactly the same as the previous design. Its horizontal rigidity is reduced by 15%, with vertical rigidity maintained to generate incredible rear tyre grip.
Honda Selectable Torque Control If the Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system senses an imminent loss of rear-wheel traction it reduces torque to allow the tyre to grip.
Programmed Fuel Injection Map-type computerised system maintains strong power and responsive performance in all conditions.
Start Mode Limits engine rpm based on rider preference, even with a wide-open throttle, letting the rider focus on clutch release (and lights) alone.

More Control To take the engine to a higher level of control – and a first for a Honda – the TBW is now a two-motor system, with one motor controlling cylinders 1 and 2, and the other controlling cylinders 3 and 4. Cylinders 1 and 2's throttle valves open through smaller throttle openings to finely regulate output and cause crank rotation variations. This makes the engine much easier to handle and operate at lower rpm. As the revs rise, all throttle valves open simultaneously, resulting in a seamless burst of top-end power.
Winglet Aerdynamics HRC has built new winglets that preserve downforce and front-ed grip while delivering 10% reduced yaw moment and high-speed handling agility.
EURO5 Complies with EURO 5 emissions regulations.
