Honda Super-N: a bold new small EV set for UK launch this July

Honda is set to introduce an all-new electric model to the UK market this summer, with the arrival of the Super-N—a compact EV designed to deliver engaging performance, distinctive design, and everyday usability.

Positioned to bring a fresh sense of fun to urban mobility, the Super-N combines Honda’s long-standing focus on driver enjoyment with modern electric technology, offering a unique proposition in the small EV segment.

Designed around the driver

Developed using Honda’s ‘Man-Maximum, Machine-Minimum’ philosophy, the Super-N has been engineered to prioritise the needs of both driver and passengers. The result is a compact, lightweight vehicle that delivers responsive handling, intuitive controls, and a strong sense of connection behind the wheel.

Built on the platform of Honda’s advanced N Series ‘Kei’ cars, the Super-N also draws inspiration from the iconic 1980s City Turbo II, reflected in its bold styling and playful character.

Compact size, engaging performance

Despite its small footprint, the Super-N is engineered to offer a dynamic and entertaining driving experience. A key feature is its innovative BOOST Mode, which temporarily increases power output to deliver a more responsive and spirited drive when required.

This is complemented by a lightweight design and carefully tuned chassis, helping to create agile handling suited to both city streets and more varied road conditions. Honda has also incorporated a simulated multi-speed transmission and Active Sound Control system, adding a more engaging and familiar driving feel to the electric experience.

Practical electric range

The Super-N is designed with everyday usability in mind, offering a city-focused electric range suited to daily commuting and urban driving. Its compact dimensions and efficient powertrain make it well matched to short journeys, while still providing the flexibility for longer trips when needed.

Distinctive design inside and out

Visually, the Super-N stands out with its wide stance, sculpted bodywork, and distinctive design elements, including bold bumpers and aerodynamic detailing. The styling reflects its performance intent while maintaining a playful, approachable character.

Inside, the cabin combines comfort with a modern, characterful design. Enhanced seating improves support for everyday driving, while unique interior details—including colour accents and ambient lighting—add to the sense of personality. Customisation options, including two-tone exterior finishes and graphic packs, allow customers to tailor the car to their individual style.

Arriving summer 2026

Set to go on sale in the UK from July, the Honda Super-N is expected to start from under £20,000, positioning it as an accessible entry point into electric driving.

With its blend of compact practicality, engaging performance, and distinctive design, the Super-N aims to redefine expectations of what a small electric car can offer—bringing a renewed focus on driving enjoyment to the EV market.
