Honda has revealed the sixth version of its most popular SUV, the all-new Honda CR-V, which will lift the bar in terms of design, practicality, and everyday usage when it reaches Europe later this year.
The all-new Honda CR-V, introduced at the brand's European Media Event in Offenbach, Germany, has been enhanced in every aspect to create the ideal all-around SUV. It blends the innovative and sporty traits that the Honda brand is known for with the most advanced driver assistance and passive safety to achieve remarkable reliability, performance, and luxury. The all new Honda CR-V has moved closer to the premium sector thanks to an emphasis on high-quality hues, materials, and textiles throughout the all-new Honda CR-V cabin.
The all-new Honda CR-V will be available with either a full hybrid (e:HEV) or, for the first time in Europe, a plug-in hybrid (e:PHEV) powertrain. Both all-new Honda CR-V models are powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder direct injection Atkinson-cycle petrol engine that has been refreshed to improve the efficiency, refinement, and dynamic handling of the all-new Honda CR-V.
The all-new Honda CR-V models maintain a similar profile as before, but with design progression that boosts its road presence. This begins with more purposeful styling in the front, with each e:HEV and e:PHEV model distinguishable by its own unique grille design. Thin headlights on the all-new Honda CR-V work in tandem with new distinctive daytime running lights to create a strong visual presence, while the vertical brake light and turn signal combo at the rear is a smart extension of the CR-V taillight design.
Honda SENSING features have been updated for the all-new Honda CR-V variants, as well as new structural components, that contribute to class-leading active and passive safety. The all-new Honda CR-V is the first car to have Honda SENSING 360, the company's all-new omnidirectional safety and driver assist system that eliminates blind spots around the vehicle and aids in collision avoidance by decreasing the driver's pressure.
