The results are in: Space Violet and Water World Green have emerged as the clear favourites, now available to order on all Octavia vRS models.
The vote, which saw hundreds of fans take part, offered a shortlist of four eye-catching hues: Space Violet, Water World Green, Chilli Red, and Plum Blue. In a single-day poll, Space Violet dominated the vote on X with 43% support, while Water World Green edged ahead on Instagram, earning the top spot with 33% of the vote.
Both winning colours are now offered as exclusive options for Octavia vRS models and can be specified on both hatchback and estate variants. Each shade is priced at £855 (RRP), giving drivers the chance to personalise their vehicle with a colour that matches the vRS’s dynamic and bold personality.
“The new colours reinforce what the Octavia vRS has always stood for – performance, practicality, and personality,” said a Škoda spokesperson. “By putting the choice in the hands of our community, we’re deepening the relationship with our fans and allowing them to shape the identity of one of our most iconic models.”
The addition of Space Violet and Water World Green enhances the visual appeal of a car already well-loved for its blend of power and everyday usability. Now in its fourth generation, the Octavia vRS is powered by a 265 PS four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and continues to offer the dynamic driving experience that has defined the vRS badge since it first joined the Škoda line-up in 2001.
This initiative is part of Škoda’s broader effort to engage directly with its enthusiastic online following, offering fans interactive and meaningful opportunities to influence the brand's offerings. It aligns with the company’s commitment to innovation and customer focus under its “Next Level – Škoda Strategy 2030”.
The Octavia vRS’s new colour options reflect a broader brand trend that embraces customisation and community-driven design. As Škoda looks ahead, further community-based campaigns may become a staple of its marketing and product strategy.
